The first two days

You have to know that I have been taking care of three of these five kids for years now when their parents are working, on dates, traveling, etc. As of three days ago, I found out that I was adding two more kids to my bunch L. and J. The others are M., P., and B. They are attending a football camp at the local private school in two where one of their fathers is the head football coach. Needless to say a few actually have some talent. I have to say I'm a pretty proud of how well all five of them get along. Yesterday, we all took an outing to the courthouse aka the local fitness club with multiple location around town. I thought we were all swimming. Well I was misinformed. The only on that took a dip in the pool was me. The others took turns between playing racket ball and wall ball. Also they hit up the arcade...this is a fitness club?

Today, I only had one set of brothers. Needless to say the day was uneventful with a long five hours sitting in front of the television watching Phineas and Ferb and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody until the downpour outside subsided. I finished the last Au pair book and started on many others with my new kindle applications on my Iphone. The most entertainment of the day came from L. and J. about their female cat who is orange, black, and white being named Mickey. I am pretty sure I am the only one who found the humor in this.

I am excited for S., one of my college besties. She is dating again! Yay! Well she will not call it a date, but I will. Oh and she is having a sushi date. I was glad but not shocked when I was the one she turned to for sushi ordering advice at the local sushi bar in town. She did her research before the date which equals no awkward texting under the table or in the bathroom while on her date. Oops that might be me!

My other college bestie, K. is leaving for China the end of the week to spend the summer studying. As sad as I am she is leaving for two months, I know it will be a good experience for her. No, this will not be her first time in China. She actually lived their for a couple of years in her youth. There will be a lot of long skype sessions, emails, and blogging to keep up with one another, but we will make it.

Tomorrow equals and extremely long day with all five boys with a forecast of rain.

Until next time,
Ally B.
